About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders (phone and in-person), inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Essential functions include accurate math skills for transactions, strong communication abilities for order processing, and good motor coordination for precise movements. The work environment includes exposure to varying temperatures, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone or with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying items like pizza sauce (30 lbs) and pizza dough trays (12 lbs each), pushing/pulling trays on dollies, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks including forceful pinching for box assembly and grasping various tools and products. Additional duties include delivering product by car and to the customer's door, and distributing marketing materials. This requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying product, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the vehicle, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Work conditions involve exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
