About The Position
This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders via phone and in person. Responsibilities include inventory management, cleaning, and providing excellent customer service. The position requires strong communication and essential skills for order processing and monetary transactions. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to fumes and dust, and working in confined spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting. Hand tasks require continuous use of hands with frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists for tasks like shaping dough and assembling boxes. Additionally, the role may include delivery duties, requiring a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. The delivery aspect also involves driving in various weather conditions and requires far and night vision.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
Responsibilities
- Operate all equipment
- Stock ingredients from delivery area storage, work area, walk-in cooler
- Prepare product
- Receive and process telephone orders
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
- Deliver product by car and then to door of customer
- Deliver flyers and doorhangers or any marketing materials
