About The Position
The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the equipment and facility. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders. The work environment involves exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Essential functions include standing for most tasks, walking short distances, occasional sitting for paperwork, lifting and carrying bulk products, pushing/pulling trays, infrequent climbing of stairs or ladders, stooping/bending at the waist, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous reaching and hand tasks involving eye-hand coordination. Additionally, the role includes delivering product by car to customers, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel will also be exposed to varying weather conditions while driving and delivering.
Requirements
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
- Must be able to make correct monetary change
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
- Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
- Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
- Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
- Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
- Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
