Requirements

3+ years leading high-volume operations in family entertainment, hospitality, retail, fitness, or similar industries.
Demonstrated experience owning business performance, including labor, revenue, and financial accountability.
Proven ability to coach leaders, build strong teams, and create a culture of accountability.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, KPIs, forecasting, and operational planning.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Comfortable making decisions independently in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for creating memorable experiences for kids and families.
Due to high guest volume at our National City location, the General Manager must be available to work all three weekend days (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

Responsibilities

Own the overall financial performance of the park, including revenue growth, profitability, labor management, and expense control.
Analyze business trends and performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Drive revenue across admissions, birthday parties, group events, merchandise, and new business opportunities.
Partner with corporate marketing while actively building local relationships with schools, youth organizations, businesses, and community groups to grow awareness and drive traffic.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, guest experience, and profitability.
Recruit, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing leadership team.
Create a culture built on accountability, recognition, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Lead performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Ensure every team member understands how their role contributes to the success of the business.
Deliver an exceptional guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational execution.
Lead daily operations while empowering your leadership team to execute consistently.
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism while identifying opportunities to improve future experiences.
Ensure every visit reflects the FUNBOX brand and exceeds guest expectations.
Champion a proactive safety culture through training, accountability, and continuous oversight.
Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, company policies, and operational procedures.
Oversee facility maintenance, equipment readiness, inventory management, and vendor relationships.
Protect both guests and team members by maintaining a safe, clean, and well-operated environment.
