About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities include receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers, both verbally and in writing. Essential functions include accurate basic math skills, making correct monetary change, and proficiency in using computer keyboards or touch screens for order entry. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, and cramped spaces. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, occasional climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, and reaching. Hand tasks require continuous use, including forceful pinching for box assembly and manipulation of tools like pizza peels and cutters. Delivery duties require a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. The role also involves driving within a designated area, potentially making multiple deliveries per shift, and exposure to weather conditions during deliveries.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between eye and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving record meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
