About The Position

Lead a Courtyard by Marriott — Shape the Next Generation of Hospitality Leaders. We are seeking an exceptional, forward-thinking General Manager to lead our full-service Courtyard by Marriott property — while also serving as an Adjunct Professor in partnership with a leading university hospitality program. This position uniquely blends executive hotel leadership, community influence, talent pipeline development, brand excellence within the Courtyard by Marriott portfolio, and academic engagement and teaching. You won’t just operate a hotel — you’ll operate a living classroom.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive hotel leadership experience
  • Master’s degree required

Responsibilities

  • Full operational oversight of a dynamic full-service Courtyard by Marriott hotel
  • Revenue growth, GOP performance, and strategic asset management
  • Brand standards execution and guest experience excellence
  • Sales strategy, market positioning, and community engagement
  • Development and mentoring of department leaders
  • Serve as Adjunct Professor within the University’s Hospitality Program
  • Deliver an immersive practicum course hosted inside the hotel
  • Mentor and coach hospitality students
