About The Position

As the leader of AC Hotel Old Montreal, you will embody the vision and ambition of the property. You will oversee the overall management of the hotel, placing revenue growth, brand positioning, and excellence in guest experience at the core of your priorities. A true entrepreneur, you will skillfully lead commercial, marketing, and operational strategies to maximize profitability and enhance the hotel’s reputation. Through your leadership, you will direct operations with precision and creativity while motivating and inspiring teams to deliver a distinctive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality, ideally within recognized hotel brands
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership role
  • Inspiring and results-oriented leader with strong team-building abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
  • University degree in business administration or hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of hotel systems and tools

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring operational excellence across all departments
  • Maintaining a strong presence on the floor and conducting regular hotel inspections
  • Monitoring quality trends and implementing concrete improvement actions
  • Upholding Marriott and Urgo Hotels Canada standards
  • Overseeing audits, including food safety audits
  • Optimizing scheduling while balancing financial objectives and guest experience
  • Developing and ensuring the execution of sales strategies
  • Leading daily revenue management strategies
  • Engaging teams around sales objectives and opportunities
  • Planning and managing operational and capital budgets
  • Clearly communicating financial objectives to teams
  • Ensuring sound cash-flow management
  • Recruiting, developing, and inspiring talent
  • Supporting managers in their professional growth
  • Implementing effective communication practices
  • Promoting a culture of collaboration, engagement, and service excellence
  • Managing agreements and relationships with partners
  • Contributing to the hotel’s visibility and reputation within the community
