About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment, stocks ingredients, prepares products, receives and processes telephone orders, takes inventory, completes paperwork, and cleans equipment and the facility daily. The role also involves making deliveries by car to customers’ doors, delivering flyers and door hangers, and navigating a designated delivery area. The General Manager leads by example and coaches and trains new employees. Work conditions vary.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person and by phone.
Ability to read a map and locate addresses within a designated delivery area.
Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying product.

Responsibilities

Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and the facility daily.
Deliver product by car to customers’ doors.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Navigate to addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Lead by example and coach and train new employees.
