About The Position

Mach 1 is a growing, family-owned company serving Illinois and Indiana. The Convenience Store General Manager manages the entire location, provides exemplary customer service, builds team member relations, and works to ensure the location's highest profitability. The role includes supervising 10–12 sales associates and overseeing daily store operations. Applicants must complete a background screen.

Responsibilities

Manage the entire store location and oversee day-to-day operations.
Provide exemplary customer service and build team member relations.
Supervise 10–12 sales associates.
Interview, hire, and train sales associates.
Ensure a safe environment for customers and employees.
Maintain the store's appearance in accordance with company standards.
Comply with federal and state laws pertaining to store operations.
Handle daily paperwork, bank deposits, inventory counts, cash audits, and invoice processing.
Place orders, schedule staff, and control labor hours.
Monitor competitor pricing at nearby local stores.
