About The Position

Established Painting contractor looking for a General Manager to run operations in Marint and St. Lucie Counties. We are looking for a self-starter who will be running this division as part of the main company based in Stuart, FL. Behind every excellent paint job, are the people who get to know the homeowner, help craft the design, improve the look and feel and even keep the project moving along. At Five Star Painting®, we’re looking for more people who can do that. With flexible hours, it doesn’t matter if you’re the stay-at-home type, or the 80-hour workweek type, there’s a place for you in an independently owned and operated Five Star Painting® franchise.

Requirements

Winning Attitude
Willingness to learn and continue to improve operations
Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Skills with SmartPhones, Email and Basic computer skills.
Organized approach to time management and goals.
Florida Drivers License
Good driving history
Ability to pass a background check
Be over 18

Nice To Haves

Experience in related field helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Estimate projects using our web-based software system.
Present Estimate and sell job to client.
Assign and manage painting crews to ensure job is completed properly.
Daily Job site visits
Interface with client during the process to communicate progress and to complete on time.
Market the company in various capacities, marketing goals will be discussed and outlined once hired.
Collect payments from clients
Weekly reporting to the owner of all jobs pending and completed.
Eventually hire new painters as needed to meet demand.
