About The Position

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is looking for megastars who embrace our belief and live the lifestyle that when you eat better, you feel better. The ideal candidate will have a fun and outgoing personality who will welcome new and existing customers to the brand. As the brand ambassador, the Café Manager is responsible for driving profitability through the P&L, while developing a crew that serves customers with unparalleled hospitality. The ideal candidate must align with the culture and values of the brand while delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field required.
• Open availability
• Experience recruiting, hiring, training and developing employees.
• Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front of the house and back of the house.
• Must have a proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor.
• Strong skills in understanding P&L reports and budgets.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitors sales growth and cost control of the café against the budgeted expectation and historical performance, to ensure that profit goals are met.
• Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
• Presents a consistent, professional image of the café and crew by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards.
• Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials.
• Executes marketing and sales programs, following appropriate guidelines.
• Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns.
