We are looking for dynamic General Managers to join our fast- paced environment and have a passion for our Veterans and their families with prior multi-unit experience. The VCS is a federal agency under the Department of Veterans Affairs and operates cafés, retail stores, coffee shops, and vending machines across the country.
Requirements
- Prior multi-unit experience.
- Resumes cannot exceed 2 pages in length.
Responsibilities
- Oversees all aspects of canteen operations in East Orange, NJ, including retail, food service, vending, sales, merchandising, and accountability.
- Comprehensive personnel management, administrative oversight, and process evaluations related to canteen functions, such as planograms (POGs), retail point-of-sale (RPOS) systems, inventory control, stock scheduling, food safety, sanitation, and promotional initiatives.
- Achieving financial targets and executing program objectives as directed by the Veterans Canteen Service Central Office (VCSCO) and/or the Regional Director.
