About The Position

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall financial and strategic management of the company. This includes managing profit and loss, operating budgets, and capital expenditure plans. The role involves setting strategic objectives, analyzing sales data, and collaborating with various departments to achieve business goals. Additionally, the General Manager will lead sales planning, operations, production, customer success, supply chain, quality assurance, team leadership, talent development, and ensure safety and compliance.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of management experience.
  • Track record of successfully managing sales and production teams.
  • Strong financial literacy.
  • P&L management skills.
  • Contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Profit & Loss of the company, operating budgets, and capital expenditure plans.
  • Develop and execute strategic objectives, including 5-year business plans, to increase market share and achieve revenue and production goals.
  • Track and analyze sales data, forecasts, and annual plan objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and finance departments to meet business goals.
  • Analyze performance metrics and financial reports for cost reduction and process optimization.
  • Set sales targets, quotas, and strategic sales goals.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to identify emerging markets and formulate sales strategies.
  • Oversee daily production across all areas, including welding, assembly, purchasing, production scheduling, and warehousing.
  • Ensure on-time delivery by eliminating production bottlenecks and optimizing workflow.
  • Establish a culture of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement.
  • Oversee daily sales activities through the Sales Manager, ensuring seamless lead-to-close processes.
  • Resolve escalated client complaints and maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Oversee procurement of raw materials and manage supplier/vendor relationships.
  • Enforce quality control standards and manage product warranties.
  • Coordinate with sales and engineering teams to meet client requirements.
  • Hire, train, and mentor department heads, supervisors, and production workers.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by setting goals, conducting evaluations, and building succession plans.
  • Champion a safety-first culture and ensure OSHA and environmental regulatory compliance.
