About The Position

The General Manager will be responsible for creating an amazing environment where coaches, kids, and families thrive. This role involves driving sales, ensuring member satisfaction, and making every day at KidStrong extraordinary. The General Manager is a talented, welcoming, and engaging leader focused on defining goals and delivering an exceptional experience for kids, families, and team members. Key responsibilities include developing and training the coaching team, building close relationships with members, and achieving business results such as sales performance and lowering member attrition.

Requirements

  • Coaching background with experience with kids aged 15 months to 11 years.
  • Strong people skills to interact with parents and guardians.
  • Practical experience with Google, Microsoft, and social media platforms.
  • CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to juggle a tablet, a toddler, and a high-five simultaneously.
  • Ability to navigate a physically demanding environment with energy.

Responsibilities

  • Master KPIs and financials.
  • Serve as the friendly face of the center and build relationships with families.
  • Maintain a clean and well-operational center.
  • Delegate tasks to the team.
  • Work a flexible schedule including weekdays and one weekend shift, with the majority of hours in the afternoon/evening on weekdays and the first half of the day on weekends.
  • Drive membership sales by working with the team to set goals and fill class spots.
  • Contact leads via phone and text to convert them into members.
  • Arrange and attend local events to promote KidStrong.
  • Inspire and motivate the coaching team.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop coaches.
  • Utilize training tools for professional development of self and others.
  • Communicate clearly via Slack and Email.
  • Deliver the curriculum and coach 3-5 classes per week.
  • Monitor attendance and achievements using the KS Coaches App.

Benefits

  • Salary plus bonus
  • Total compensation between $55,000 - $65,000
