About The Position

Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson in Stuart, Florida, a dealership located between the St. Lucie River and the Atlantic Ocean, is seeking a General Manager. The dealership is known for its large selection of new and pre-owned Harley-Davidson bikes, experienced technicians, and a fully stocked MotorClothes® Department. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all dealership operational activities to ensure efficiency, steering and managing the sales operation of new and pre-owned units, and guiding and developing the sales team. This role involves using management skills to forecast and create sales, service, and parts objectives and goals, motivating the team to meet and exceed sales goals through open communication, and developing sales techniques. The General Manager is also expected to model superior customer service behavior and provide a world-class customer experience.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience within a motor vehicle or powersports dealership as General Manager or General Sales Manager
  • Thorough knowledge of and experience with the sales of powersports
  • Proven track record of success managing teams
  • Excellent leadership and managerial skills
  • Knowledge and desire to develop a sales and service team
  • Exceptional face-to-face communication skills, focused on a high standard of customer service
  • Organized with superior time management skills and attention to detail
