About The Position

The General Manager leads restaurant operations through a team of managers and crew, demonstrating leadership by living Red Lobster’s principles and fostering operational excellence. The role focuses on culinary, beverage, and service excellence and creating an outstanding crew experience. Performance is measured by consistently delivering balanced results for guests, employees, operational processes, and financial goals. The General Manager supports sustainable sales and profit growth through people, personal, business, and results leadership.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least 5 years of management experience in restaurant, hotel, retail, or general business.
• Demonstrated excellence in Service & Culinary Manager positions.
• For external candidates, a proven leadership and performance record as a casual dining/full-service Restaurant Manager.
• ServSafe and applicable local and state regulatory certificates, or the ability to obtain them.
• Proficiency communicating verbally and in writing in English.

Nice To Haves

• At least 3 years of consistent achievement of highly distinguished business results as a Restaurant Manager.
• Bachelor’s degree.
