About The Position

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is seeking a General Manager (also referred to as Café Manager) for its Tooele, Utah location. As a brand ambassador, the Café Manager drives profitability through profit-and-loss management while developing a crew that delivers excellent hospitality. The manager is expected to reflect the brand’s culture and values and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires willingness to work 45 hours per week and open availability. The manager oversees sales growth, cost control, customer experience, sanitation and appearance standards, marketing execution, and local sales-building efforts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of managerial experience in the restaurant or fast-casual field.
• Open availability and willingness to work 45 hours per week.
• Experience growing sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Proven track record managing cost of goods and labor.
• Strong understanding of profit-and-loss reports and budgets.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive during fast-paced rush periods with accountability.

• Monitor café sales growth and cost control against budget expectations and historical performance to meet profit goals.
• Maintain and exceed customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
• Maintain sanitation and appearance standards and present a consistent, professional image of the café and crew.
• Communicate and stay informed about marketing and promotional materials.
• Execute marketing and sales programs according to applicable guidelines.
• Build café sales by cultivating business-community relationships and initiating local store marketing campaigns.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees.
