About The Position

Join Dash In in Charlotte, NC, and lead a high-performing store team focused on exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial results. Dash In is part of the Wills Group, a family-owned company that has been in business since 1926 and is celebrating 100 years of serving customers and communities. As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, including team development, foodservice, inventory, merchandising, financial performance, safety, and brand standards. You will manage the store P&L, drive sales and profitability, and create a culture of accountability, service, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment such as retail, foodservice, hospitality, or convenience retail.
  • ServServSafe Certification.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience leading a high-performing convenience store location preferred.
  • Experience with multi-unit management, a strong track record of customer service and operational results, and demonstrated success in convenience retail, hospitality, foodservice, or other high-volume guest-focused environments.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, coach, and lead a high-performing team that consistently delivers an exceptional guest experience.
  • Lead daily store operations while maintaining Dash In brand standards across service, cleanliness, merchandising, safety, and foodservice.
  • Manage the P&L and drive results across sales, margins, labor, inventory, and controllable expenses.
  • Manage ordering, inventory levels, merchandising, product placement, and loss prevention to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Oversee foodservice operations, food safety, product quality, and execution while supporting strong food margins.
  • Support new concepts, programs, processes, and foodservice innovations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Maintain strong performance across food safety, guest experience, age verification, cash, and operational audits and inspections.
