About The Position

ARK Hospitality is seeking a passionate, hands-on General Manager to lead the Cambria Hotel Bend – Mt. Bachelor. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, maximizing property performance, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, employee engagement, operational excellence, and financial success. The General Manager will serve as the leader of the property, fostering a culture focused on accountability, service, teamwork, and continuous improvement. The property is an upscale hospitality destination in Bend, Oregon, serving a mix of leisure, business, and event guests.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel management or hospitality leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading teams and driving operational performance.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze property performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and retaining employees.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

  • Maintain financial and statistical reporting requirements.
  • Oversee daily hotel operations across all property departments.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety programs, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and back-of-house areas.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs and property upkeep.
  • Monitor operational checklists and training requirements.
  • Maintain a visible presence throughout the property, especially during shift transitions.
  • Represent the hotel within the local Bend community.
  • Establish relationships with community organizations, local businesses, tourism partners, and event stakeholders.
  • Support sales initiatives that increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Promote the property's reputation and visibility within the marketplace.
