As a General Manager at Fenix Parts, you will oversee all site operations through a team of functional managers and supervisors. Your role will be critical in ensuring efficient production, high-quality standards, and cost-effective operations while maintaining customer and employee satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Industry Experience.
  • 5-10 years in previous management positions.
  • Performance management, problem-solving, excellent communication, and working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and achieve results through others.
  • Ability to perform short and long-range planning.
  • Works effectively and relates well with others, maintaining constructive working relationships.
  • Proven track record in achieving excellent quality and safety results.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of all employees and visitors.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, develop, and provide succession planning for all staff and management teams.
  • Maintain a positive work environment and ensure proper training and staff assessments.
  • Support corporate efforts in procurement, production, marketing, field, and technical services.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.
  • Manage safety, production, quality, cost reduction, delivery, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and plant performance measures.
  • Manage costs and communicate issues related to cost and labor variances; implement solutions to address these issues.
  • Ensure product quality and operator performance are maintained; recommend and oversee the purchase of new equipment and improvements to plant property.
  • Identify, communicate, and drive the implementation of capital investments and improvement projects.
  • Work with corporate staff to develop budgets, programs, and long-term plans.
  • Perform cash office operational functions.
