About The Position

Einstein Bros. Bagels is hiring a General Manager to oversee all aspects of a store with an ownership-minded approach. The General Manager is a hands-on operator who helps the team deliver an exceptional customer experience and meet store goals. Stores use a one-shift model, and leaders may start as early as 4 a.m. to complete the first bake and open. The workday includes keeping the store audit-ready, executing catering, mobile, and in-store orders, supporting the team during breakfast and lunch rushes, managing breaks, and promoting positive customer survey results. After the store closes at 2 p.m., closing and preparation for the next day generally take 30–45 minutes. Administrative work may include scheduling, ordering, and inventory, as well as taking the daily deposit to the bank. The company provides five weeks of training. Store operating hours are 6 a.m.–2 p.m.; the job posting also notes that leaders may start as early as 4 a.m.

Requirements

At least 18 years old.
1–3 years of prior General Manager or Assistant General Manager experience in a restaurant setting.
Hands-on restaurant operations experience and the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Proven strategies for achieving food cost goals and labor targets.
