About The Position

As General Manager, you will be responsible for the general oversight and operational leadership of both the Mosaic Quarter Iceplex and Fieldhouse. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Managing the overall operations of both complexes, including ice, court, fieldhouse, tenant, and common-area spaces. Overseeing the scheduling and use of tenant spaces, ice surfaces, courts, and other rentable areas within the facilities. Scheduling and supervising Mosaic Quarter building staff, including drivers, cleaners, general staff, and other facility support personnel. Ensuring the proper maintenance and quality of the ice surfaces, including coordination of ice-making, resurfacing, and related equipment needs. Maintaining high standards for building cleanliness, safety, presentation, and overall guest experience. Overseeing general equipment maintenance and coordinating necessary repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Driving facility revenue through rentals, programming opportunities, tenant relationships, and the sale of available ice, court, and fieldhouse surfaces. Working with Edge Sports Global leadership to identify new business opportunities, improve operational efficiency, and maximize facility profitability. Ensuring staff accountability, professional standards, and strong communication across all departments and tenants.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience and equipment repair
  • 3-5 years industry experience required.
  • Personnel management experience needed
  • Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage people.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
  • Must be able to travel throughout the year as needed both locally and domestically.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to speak effectively to event personnel, clients and LGM management.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or four year degree in business, management, or related field, is preferred.
  • This position requires that the person be highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.
