About The Position

The General Manager will lead and manage all aspects of factory operations, including assembly, integration, testing, packaging, and shipping of servers and racks. This role involves driving continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance product quality. The General Manager will also supervise, train, and mentor department managers, supervisors, and factory personnel, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment. Collaboration with planning, engineering, and supply chain teams is crucial for meeting customer deadlines and optimizing throughput, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of integrated server racks. The position requires implementing and maintaining rigorous quality control systems, managing factory layout, equipment maintenance, and overall facility readiness, including leading capital improvement projects. Enforcement of OSHA, ESD, and other safety standards, along with ensuring regulatory compliance, is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of leadership experience in electronics manufacturing, hardware integration, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of server, networking, and data center hardware.
  • Proven experience managing factory operations in a high-mix, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, production planning tools, and manufacturing metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese
  • Experience working with hyperscaler, OEM, or enterprise-level IT hardware.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.
  • Prior background in rack-level integration, burn-in testing, and logistics coordination.
