General Manager - Multiple Locations (Bloomington)
About The Position
Finney Hospitality Group is looking for experienced, people-focused leaders interested in General Manager opportunities across our growing family of restaurant concepts. This is a general FHG leadership posting designed to connect great candidates with opportunities across our restaurants. Current Bloomington Locations include Social Cantina, The Tap, and Yogi's. As a General Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall performance, operations, and culture of your restaurant. You'll lead your management team and hourly employees while creating a great experience for both our guests and our team members.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- General Manager or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
- Understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Guest-focused mindset and commitment to creating a strong team culture
- Flexible availability based on restaurant needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure a consistently strong guest experience
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing restaurant team
- Coach and develop managers and team members while creating a positive, accountable workplace culture
- Oversee labor, scheduling, food costs, inventory, and other key operating expenses
- Monitor restaurant performance and take action to achieve sales, profitability, and operational goals
- Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable health, safety, and employment requirements
- Partner with FHG leadership and support teams on restaurant initiatives and operational needs
- Build relationships within the local community and represent the restaurant and FHG professionally
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, team performance, and the overall guest experience
