About The Position

We are seeking an exceptional, forward-thinking General Manager to lead our full-service Courtyard by Marriott property — while also serving as an Adjunct Professor in partnership with a leading university hospitality program. This position uniquely blends executive hotel leadership, community influence, talent pipeline development, brand excellence within the Courtyard by Marriott portfolio, and academic engagement and teaching. You won’t just operate a hotel — you’ll operate a living classroom. The role involves full operational oversight of a dynamic full-service Courtyard by Marriott hotel, focusing on revenue growth, GOP performance, strategic asset management, brand standards execution, guest experience excellence, sales strategy, market positioning, and community engagement. Additionally, the General Manager will be responsible for the development and mentoring of department leaders, serving as an Adjunct Professor within the University’s Hospitality Program, delivering an immersive practicum course hosted inside the hotel, and mentoring and coaching hospitality students.

Requirements

  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive hotel leadership experience
  • Master’s degree required
