About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and hands on Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations lead a strong team and deliver an excellent guest experience in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Two to three years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service
Strong leadership and team development skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Experience with cost control budgeting and inventory management
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing day to day operations ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining company standards for food quality cleanliness safety and overall guest experience.
Support opening and closing procedures and ensure all processes are followed consistently.
Help recruit train and onboard new team members while providing ongoing coaching and support.
Supervise staff during shifts delegate tasks effectively and help create a positive team environment built on communication and collaboration.
Conduct performance discussions to support employee growth and development.
Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring food quality service and overall guest experience.
Handle customer concerns professionally and work to resolve issues quickly while leading by example in all guest interactions.
Support the financial performance of the restaurant by helping manage expenses labor and inventory.
Assist with tracking sales supporting payroll and maintaining accurate inventory levels to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
Ensure full compliance with all health safety and sanitation standards.
Help enforce food safety procedures maintain cleanliness and ensure all equipment and facilities are operating properly.
Support local marketing and promotional efforts to drive traffic and increase sales.
Help execute campaigns communicate promotions to guests and contribute to building strong community engagement.
Maintain clear communication with the General Manager and team members by providing updates on operations staff performance and overall business needs.
Identify opportunities for improvement.
