About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and hands on Assistant Manager to support daily restaurant operations lead a strong team and deliver an excellent guest experience in a fast paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Two to three years of leadership experience in restaurant or food service
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with cost control budgeting and inventory management
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing day to day operations ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining company standards for food quality cleanliness safety and overall guest experience.
  • Support opening and closing procedures and ensure all processes are followed consistently.
  • Help recruit train and onboard new team members while providing ongoing coaching and support.
  • Supervise staff during shifts delegate tasks effectively and help create a positive team environment built on communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct performance discussions to support employee growth and development.
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction by monitoring food quality service and overall guest experience.
  • Handle customer concerns professionally and work to resolve issues quickly while leading by example in all guest interactions.
  • Support the financial performance of the restaurant by helping manage expenses labor and inventory.
  • Assist with tracking sales supporting payroll and maintaining accurate inventory levels to reduce waste and maximize profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health safety and sanitation standards.
  • Help enforce food safety procedures maintain cleanliness and ensure all equipment and facilities are operating properly.
  • Support local marketing and promotional efforts to drive traffic and increase sales.
  • Help execute campaigns communicate promotions to guests and contribute to building strong community engagement.
  • Maintain clear communication with the General Manager and team members by providing updates on operations staff performance and overall business needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
