Requirements

3+ years of leadership experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse operations, aviation, supply chain, or operations management
Strong background in operations management, logistics, transportation management, warehouse operations, or aviation ground handling
Proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and motivate high-performing teams
Experience with employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, and staffing coordination
Knowledge of package sortation, trucking operations, cargo handling, and distribution processes
Strong understanding of TSA, DOT, regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and security procedures
Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship management skills
Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with reporting, analytics, payroll, timekeeping systems, and operational metrics
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Must successfully pass all required drug screenings and background checks, including employer, customer, and/or SIDA requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

Commercial driving and package sortation experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Lead all aspects of air cargo handling, package sortation, and linehaul transportation operations.
Ensure achievement of customer service standards, operational KPIs, and contractual requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for supervisors and operational personnel.
Partner with subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate staffing and workforce readiness.
Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and employee development activities.
Maintain compliance with TSA, DOT, local, state, and federal regulations.
Promote a strong culture of safety, security, and operational excellence.
Investigate, document, and report operational, safety, and security incidents.
Monitor operational performance, staffing, equipment readiness, schedules, and customer reporting requirements.
Oversee payroll review, timesheet accuracy, operational reporting, and communication processes.
Coordinate daily operations and ensure successful execution of all shift activities.
