Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in construction, building products, or specialty trades, including direct profit-and-loss responsibility.
  • Demonstrated success developing revenue and managing customer or builder relationships in a competitive market.
  • Proven leadership of operations and field teams delivering work safely, on schedule, and on budget.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong financial acuity - budgets, P&L, gross margin, WIP, and job-cost management; ERP experience (Sage Intacct) a plus.
  • Working knowledge of exterior cladding and siding scopes, estimating, and field execution.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA construction safety standards and state contractor-licensing requirements in the Southeast.

Responsibilities

  • Own branch financial performance by managing the P&L, achieving revenue, gross margin, and EBITDA targets, controlling costs, and driving execution of the annual business plan.
  • Drive business growth and customer success by building relationships with builders, contractors, and commercial clients, expanding backlog, pursuing new opportunities, and resolving key customer issues.
  • Protect profitability through disciplined estimating, pricing, contract management, and change-order processes to maximize margins and control project risk.
  • Lead branch operations by ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards while maintaining installation capacity and operational efficiency.
  • Champion safety and compliance by fostering a zero-incident culture, ensuring regulatory and SOP compliance, and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.
  • Oversee financial reporting and branch administration by ensuring accurate job costing, WIP reporting, billing, collections, procurement, and ERP data integrity.
  • Develop high-performing teams by recruiting, coaching, and retaining talent, setting performance expectations, and promoting a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
