About The Position

Camps Kitchen & Bar, located in East Cobb, Marietta, GA, is seeking an experienced General Manager who is more than an operator; they are looking for a business builder. This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who enjoys developing teams, driving sales growth, building community relationships, expanding private event revenue, and creating memorable guest experiences. The General Manager will have the opportunity to directly influence the restaurant's future growth while helping strengthen its position as one of East Cobb's premier dining and event destinations. Camps Kitchen & Bar has been serving guests for a decade with chef-inspired cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and genuine hospitality, known for its fresh flavors, creative menu, stone-oven pizzas, handmade pastas, and seasonal culinary features. In addition to nightly dinner service, Camps features a private event venue that hosts corporate events, celebrations, rehearsal dinners, networking functions, holiday parties, and private dining experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of restaurant management experience, with General Manager leadership experience preferred
  • Full-service restaurant experience required
  • Strong understanding of restaurant financials, labor management, and cost controls
  • Proven success in developing teams and driving performance
  • Passion for hospitality, leadership, and business growth

  • Experience with event sales, private dining, or community engagement is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop management and hourly teams
  • Build a culture rooted in hospitality, accountability, and teamwork

  • Drive guest counts, repeat business, and overall sales growth
  • Build relationships with local businesses, schools, organizations, and community groups

  • Oversee all Front of House and Back of House operations
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, service standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure operational consistency and accountability
  • Lead daily operations with a strong floor presence
  • Manage labor, food costs, and controllable expenses
  • Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Drive profitability through strong operational execution
  • Execute plans to achieve financial and business goals
