About The Position

Requirements

  • 8 years or more of industry experience, plus proven experience in an executive role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong leadership skills, analytical ability, proactive, decisive, develops processes for functional areas maximizing safety, financial results, quality, productivity, and community stewardship.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic, highly independent and goal oriented.
  • Possesses strong safety awareness.
  • Computer literate
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business processes and functions, planning and budgeting.
  • Familiar with sales, product categories and services, with strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Directs, manages, and optimizes daily business operations.
  • Develops and implements growth strategies.
  • Establishes major goals, policies, and procedures to improve functions.
  • Approves policies and procedures developed by sub-functions and departments.
  • Establishes staff performance evaluations with sub-functions and departments.
  • Responsible for customer revenue and satisfaction.
  • Sets Management Meetings to communicate strategies, goals, and results.
  • Monitors all equipment and workflow to ensure optimized quality and service.
  • Oversee vendors and contractor services.
  • Leads any labor relations activities involving the plant.
  • Sets strategies and KPIs working with financial controls.
  • Establishes operations and functional area systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set performance targets in production, transportation, administration, sales/service, accounting, engineering, and HR.
  • Analyzes tests, inspections, and problems to resolve and prevent reoccurrence in the future and for continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and approve key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
  • Set and manages budget and annual goals with top management.
  • Monitors all equipment is functioning properly and that all safety procedures and policies are followed.
  • Safety metrics is to be the highest priority.
  • Oversees strict compliance with all safety standards and DOT, HAZMAT, OSHA regulations with regards to training, the wearing of PPE, inventory, and supply management.
  • Engage with corporate officers in broad strategic planning, reporting, and current monthly results and other achievements and challenges as needed.
