About The Position

The Pizza Hut Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is responsible for driving the financial and operational performance of their store by empowering and engaging their team. This role involves creating a culture that aligns with Tasty Hut, LLC Core Values and ensures operational excellence. The RGM oversees all staff and operations with an entrepreneurial mindset, focusing on hiring, training, and developing a strong team, while maintaining excellent customer service and brand standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all staff and operations in the restaurant with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Hire, train, and build a bench of shift leaders and team members.
  • Own and promote a positive restaurant culture and employee experience.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards.
  • Enforce and follow Pizza Hut Service Principals (Deliver it Fast, Make Food We are Proud to Service, Service with a Smile).
  • Responsible for oversight and execution of all store inventory, forecasting, and scheduling processes.
  • Ensure all team members have the tools and knowledge necessary for success.
  • Partner with Field Marketing Manager and Director of Field Compliance to grow sales and partner with the community.
  • Develop a store team that has high customer satisfaction results.
  • Ensure the restaurant meets/exceeds all Tasty Hut, LLC and Pizza Hut Brand Standards and Processes (Food, Restaurant and Driver Safety, CHAMPS, Brand Standards, FSSC, CORE).
  • Work with the District Manager to keep the facility up to standard and in good repair.
  • Responsible for Restaurant P&L Management.
  • Evaluate and improve operational and financial performance of the restaurant.
  • Communicate company initiatives and programs to restaurant teams.
  • Own the career development and performance management process for the restaurant team (MSM).
  • Utilize Pizza Hut provided tools (Hutlink, Learning Zone, Pizzapedia).
  • Execute all Pizza Hut provided training material and courses, and follow up with store teams.
  • Be compliant with all laws and regulations.
  • Ensure a safe work environment is provided in the restaurant.
  • Maintain a clean, organized restaurant that meets all health and safety regulations.
  • Demonstrate trade area knowledge.
  • Manage and maintain positive vendor relationships.
  • Act as a Brand Steward for the Pizza Hut Brand.
  • Maintain the restaurant calendar.
  • Manage and adhere to the Tasty Hut, LLC Handbook and Policies.
  • Effectively communicate and execute company initiatives by managing the performance of the restaurant team.
  • Maintain a professional image and highly ethical conduct as a representative of Tasty Hut, LLC.
  • Exhibit Tasty Hut, LLC Core Values and work daily to fulfill the mission and vision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
