About The Position

The General Manager will help oversee the day-to-day operations within the physical stores, covering locations when other General Managers are out of the store and/or the stores need additional business support. They will oversee the day-to-day operations within the physical store they cover and be responsible for P&L, inventory, staffing, and training while growing a healthy culture. They will be a key partner in ensuring we have business coverage, are meeting sales goals, and maintain excellent brand standards. The General Manager will report directly to the Field Director – East Region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations in the stores you are supporting
  • Provide a world-class client experience, ensuring that Alchemy 43 brand standards are upheld
  • Perform all opening and closing procedures while in store
  • Manage staff, labor, and provide required breaks during shifts
  • Meet sales and financial daily goals that have been set
  • Verify that profit numbers match cash register numbers by end of each day
  • Maintain inventory counts and receive orders when required
  • Maintain store standards and marketing schematics
  • Ensure stores are clean and represent brand standards
  • Support and resolve any client issues that may arise while in store
  • Respond to in-store related emails and answer phone calls
  • Be an active partner to your peers within the area/district by sharing information and strategy
  • Take an active role in the hiring process as needed for the area/district
  • Be experienced in, comfortable with and willing to train others
  • Perform other duties, special projects, or initiatives as assigned by executive leadership, including those outside the scope of this job description, as needed
