About The Position

This General Manager position is with a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald’s USA. The role oversees all aspects of restaurant operations, including food production, guest service and experience, and the work of crew and managers. The General Manager leads people processes, makes business decisions concerning inventory, budgets, and food ordering and costs, ensures food safety and safety standards, and oversees operational needs and maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Passion for helping and serving customers and fellow team members.
• At least 1 year of experience leading, motivating, and/or developing others, or US Military Service.
• Commitment to excellence and workplace safety.
• Strong customer service and support focus.
• Ability to communicate effectively and anticipate customer needs.
• Ability to provide solutions and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant operations, including food production, guest service and experience, and crew and manager work.
• Lead people processes, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing, performance management, training, coaching, and motivation.
• Plan and make business decisions involving inventory, budgets, and food ordering and costs.
• Ensure food safety measures are established and meet McDonald’s standards.
• Maintain high standards for guest and employee safety.
• Oversee restaurant operational needs, including maintenance plans, to meet and exceed standards of excellence.
