General Manager
About The Position
Sud Stop Car Wash is seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial General Manager to join our team in North Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is the on-site CEO, accountable for people, performance, and profitability. The General Manager will build a high-energy team, deliver an outstanding guest experience, and operate the wash like their own business. The position involves the day-to-day operations of the car wash facility, ensuring smooth workflow, exceptional service delivery, and profitability. The General Manager will lead by example, demonstrate CORE values, and directly impact the company's growth and success. This role requires high expectations, continuous skill sharpening, relationship building, and impeccable industry-specific acumen, with a focus on enjoying daily work with the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Required (Business Administration Degree preferred; Associate’s Degree or equivalent hands-on management experience accepted).
- 3+ years of multi-unit or high-volume management (QSR, retail, automotive, car wash, or similar).
- 2+ years of management experience (i.e., car wash, retail sales, restaurant, front desk, site management).
- Demonstrated P&L ownership and data-driven decision making.
- Strong leadership presence and the ability to motivate hourly teams.
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable learning tunnel equipment.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new applications.
- Valid driver's license with access to reliable transportation.
- Able to walk/sit/stand for extended periods in various weather conditions outside.
- Able to operate POS and other typical office machines.
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing express car washes.
- Experience in a leadership role at a car wash is highly preferred.
