The General Manager is responsible for the effective and efficient management of all aspects of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational excellence, and financial performance. The General Manager will develop and direct business plan strategies to meet and exceed the expectations of owners, associates, and guests. This role involves developing and implementing business strategies aligned with Choice Hotels and the hotel owner’s mission, vision, and values, monitoring progress, and adjusting strategies as needed. The General Manager will also serve as the liaison for owner relations, develop annual and capital budgets, and collaborate with other company businesses to leverage resources. A key aspect of this role is to improve market penetration, achieve profit, customer service, and revenue goals, and maximize revenue through sales and marketing plans. Additionally, the General Manager will oversee public relations, analyze business results, ensure adherence to Choice Hotels standards, and represent the management company in owner relations. This position is also responsible for ensuring the hotel complies with all local, state, and national laws and standards, and for developing and implementing strategies to support employee engagement, recruitment, and development. The goal is to create 100% guest satisfaction by providing the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
