About The Position

FFUN Motorsports Saskatoon is seeking a driven, high-capacity leader to manage the largest motorsports dealership in the prairies. This is a significant leadership role overseeing a 45,000 square foot operation with multiple premium brands, over 40 team members, and a diverse range of products including motorcycles, offroad vehicles, snowmobiles, and marine equipment. The General Manager will be responsible for the overall performance, growth, and daily operations of the dealership, including Sales, Parts, Service, Finance & Insurance, Administration, and Marketing. This role requires an individual who excels in a fast-paced environment, can lead large teams, drive accountability, make critical decisions, and achieve results across all departments, working closely with senior leadership to execute business strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in a dealership, automotive, motorsports, marine or other high volume retail operation
  • Strong financial and operational understanding
  • Ability to lead large teams in a fast paced environment
  • High level of accountability and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and problem solving abilities
  • Experience managing multiple departments and leaders
  • Ability to create momentum, energy and urgency within a team
  • Comfortable making difficult decisions and leading through challenges

Responsibilities

  • Leading the overall day to day operations of the dealership
  • Driving profitability, revenue growth and market share
  • Managing and developing department managers and leadership teams
  • Creating a strong culture of accountability, performance and customer experience
  • Reviewing and managing financial statements, budgets and forecasts
  • Ensuring departments are operating efficiently and hitting KPI targets
  • Managing staffing, hiring, coaching and succession planning
  • Driving new and used inventory strategy and aged inventory management
  • Working with OEM partners and maintaining strong brand relationships
  • Leading marketing, events and promotional strategy alongside internal marketing teams
  • Ensuring operational consistency, process execution and strong communication across departments
  • Driving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and employee engagement
  • Managing large scale operational challenges while keeping teams motivated and focused
  • Supporting long term strategic growth of the dealership and division
