About The Position

MOD Restaurants seeks a General Manager to lead a fast-casual restaurant and its team, known as the Squad. The role centers on putting people first, mentoring and developing employees, delivering a strong customer experience, and supporting MOD’s mission and values. The General Manager oversees store operations and financial responsibilities while stepping in to support day-to-day work as needed. Compensation is $55,000–$65,000, varying based on qualifications, competencies, experience, and geographic location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of restaurant management experience with direct P&L responsibility.
• Experience training, developing, and leading teams.
• Experience ordering, receiving, and controlling inventory.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in owning the operation of a business.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role, including occasionally moving or handling objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work a varying schedule that includes evenings, holidays, and extended hours as business dictates.

Nice To Haves

• College education in business or a related field may substitute for a portion of the required experience.

Responsibilities

• Build connections with customers and Squad members and demonstrate a customer-first attitude.
• Manage with integrity, honesty, and respect, promoting MOD’s culture, mission, and values.
• Order products from vendors to maintain food and beverage par levels.
• Use operational tools to plan and achieve store excellence, including labor scheduling, monthly status reports, cash management, and inventory management.
• Create schedules that meet the needs of the business, Squad members, and customers while maintaining the MOD customer experience and financial responsibility.
• Oversee, inspire, and challenge Squad members, holding them accountable for product quality and customer service.
• Lead the team in-store and support restaurant operations as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the organization’s ongoing needs.
