About The Position

Our brand-new Cedar Park facility offers exceptional swim instruction in a fun, safe, and family-focused environment. We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead daily operations, drive growth, and build a high-performing team that delivers an outstanding customer experience. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and wants to help grow a business that teaches life-saving skills.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of leadership or management experience in retail, hospitality, youth programs, recreation, fitness, or aquatics
  • Proven experience managing and motivating hourly teams
  • Strong customer service and operational management skills
  • Comfortable with scheduling systems, team coordination, and local marketing initiatives
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to actively supervise pool deck operations and work in a warm pool environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aquatics, swim schools, youth sports, or recreation facilities
  • Experience managing a high-volume customer-facing business
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO), Lifeguard, or CPR/AED certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)

Responsibilities

  • Drive student enrollment growth through local marketing, partnerships, community outreach, and internal sales initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with families to maximize customer satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee scheduling, staffing, and operational efficiency to optimize class capacity and profitability
  • Manage facility-level labor costs, and operational expenses
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage a team of 15–25 swim instructors and front desk staff
  • Create a positive, energetic, and accountable workplace culture
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to maintain exceptional lesson quality and safety standards
  • Lead by example both on the pool deck and in daily operations
  • Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all families
  • Maintain compliance with health regulations, SafeSplash operational standards, and emergency procedures
  • Support pool operations, certifications, and staff readiness as needed
  • Step in operationally when necessary to support lessons or customer experience
