About The Position

The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas into storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also involves delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires accurate, quick arithmetic and monetary change-making; verbal, written, and telephone communication; precise hand-eye and finger coordination; computer keyboard or touch-screen order entry; and the ability to understand and provide written instructions. Delivery duties require map-reading and address-finding skills, as well as navigating varied terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying products. All information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Motor coordination between eyes and hands or fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites, while carrying products.
