Position Overview: As General Manager, you are the operational heartbeat of our location. You will own the operational performance of our location including hiring, training, scheduling, and holding a team of coaches accountable to delivering SafeSplash's standard of instruction. You thrive in an environment where the scoreboard is clear: student outcomes, retention, and a team that shows up ready to coach. You own the day-to-day: the schedule, the staff, the customer experience, and the standard. When something isn't working, you fix it. When the team needs leadership, you provide it. When a parent walks in nervous about putting their three-year-old in the water for the first time, you're the reason they leave happy. You will report directly to the owners and sit on our leadership team. This is not a support role. You will have real accountability and real authority to match it. Who You Are: You have a strong passion for water safety and a strong belief in our purpose to positively impact lives. You have an abundance mindset, embrace challenges and are comfortable being uncomfortable. Previous swimming experience is not required. Professionally, you have led a team and are comfortable making decisions. Whether that's a fitness studio, childcare center, retail operation, swim school, or something similar, you know what it feels like to own a team’s outcomes, not just contribute to them. You're energized by building something rather than just maintaining it, and you hold a high bar without being rigid about how you get there. You probably don't need a lot of hand-holding. But you appreciate owners who are available, experienced, and genuinely invested in your success.
