About The Position

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven General Manager to lead our FASTSIGNS Dallas area location. This is not an entry-level opportunity, we are specifically seeking a candidate with a track record of successful management, hands-on P&L ownership, and the ability to build and sustain a high-performing team. The ownership group has deep roots in business ownership and management, and they bring that same standard of excellence to how they operate and support their centers. If you are a proven leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has an ownership mentality, and knows how to bring out the best in the people around you, this role was built for you. You will be entrusted with full operational and financial responsibility for the center, managing a team of 6–12 employees and driving growth through strong leadership, customer relationships, and consistent execution. Requirements

  • Proven, successful management experience in a retail, service, or B2B environment — this is non-negotiable
  • Full Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility and financial reporting experience — required
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and positively motivate a team of 6–12 people — required
  • A genuine commitment to building a positive team culture grounded in accountability and collaboration
  • Sound business judgment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make confident decisions
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — you treat the business like it’s your own

Nice To Haves

  • college degree preferred
  • Signage industry experience highly preferred
  • Signage industry, supervisory, and computer/internet experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L performance for the center, including revenue planning, expense management, and financial reporting
  • Lead, coach, schedule, and develop a team that delivers outstanding customer experiences every day
  • Set the tone for a positive, professional, and high-accountability workplace culture
  • Monitor KPIs, Accounts Receivables, WIP reports, and daily/weekly sales activity
  • Manage inventory purchasing, store maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and organization
  • Oversee center opening and closing procedures
  • Build relationships and a referral network in the local Dallas business community to drive revenue growth
  • Maintain personal sales activity and active account development, building and growing a book of business alongside the sales team
  • Support the sales team in preparing estimates, following up on leads, and making product recommendations to clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sales activity and provide ownership with regular status reports
