About The Position

The following general description applies to all hourly store team members. Please read the detailed information listed below. This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. Essential skills include strong communication, basic math, motor coordination, and computer/touch screen use. The work environment can involve varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the phone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. For team members in driver or store management positions, additional duties include delivering product by car, delivering flyers, and requiring a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Essential skills for these roles include navigational abilities to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate various terrains while carrying product. Physical demands include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages during deliveries, driving within a designated area, walking between the store and customer locations, and potentially climbing five or more flights of stairs. Work conditions include exposure to varying weather conditions during deliveries and requiring far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Requires valid drivers license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
