The General Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of a restaurant, monitoring business levels, and ensuring a superior dining experience for all guests. This role involves overseeing all restaurant staff, ensuring adequate coverage, and setting a positive tone for the team through integrity and leading by example. The General Manager also maintains professional relationships with landlords, tenants, suppliers, and vendors, while ensuring proper use and inventory control of products, supplies, and equipment. They are responsible for ordering, supplies, inventory, and store accounting, and must act in accordance with company policies, restaurant specifications, and food/beverage regulations. This position requires supporting a friendly and professional work environment, overseeing hiring, terminations, and disciplinary actions, and working a minimum of 45 hours per week to monitor operations and motivate the crew. English comprehension is necessary for safety, job instructions, policy, and guest service. A ServSafe Manager certification is required, or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire.
