The Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing restaurant operations and personnel in the absence of management staff. This role requires excellent attendance and schedule flexibility determined by business needs. During the 180-day introductory period, performance will be evaluated for areas of improvement, additional training, or potential dismissal. Duties include maintaining proper dress code, professional appearance, and punctuality. The Shift Lead will respond to patron requests and problems, ensure accuracy in monetary transactions, and treat all team members with courtesy and respect. This role also ensures proper food quality, maintains a clean work area, and follows food handling procedures. Additionally, the Shift Lead will schedule employee shifts, lead and direct the work of others, and oversee restaurant operations when management is not present.
