About The Position

The Ultra Lounge General Manager of Skyfall Lounge at Mandalay Bay is a dynamic leader responsible for elevating every aspect of the lounge’s operations and guest experience. This role provides strategic direction and inspirational leadership to the Lounge Service team while upholding the luxury standards of MGM Resorts International. The General Manager drives operational excellence and financial performance by maximizing venue revenue, enhancing guest engagement, and developing a high-performing team through effective coaching, training, scheduling, and employee development. Working closely with Property Food & Beverage Leadership, Marketing, Entertainment, and VIP Services, this leader develops and executes innovative promotions and initiatives that strengthen the lounge’s presence and deliver memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be 21+ years or older
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required

Responsibilities

  • Owns, leads, and oversees daily lounge operations, labor productivity, scheduling, inventory control, guest service standards, and the execution and development of marketing strategies to drive both short-term and long-term profitability.
  • Conducts meetings with the Marketing Team and VIP Services department.
  • Responsible for the execution of policies, operating procedures, pricing initiatives, training programs, directives, menus, rules, and regulations for the lounge staff.
  • Owns the lounge’s execution of F&B and company-wide initiatives and programs, while developing promotions and sales strategies to enhance revenue and guest engagement.
  • Maintains the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout all beverage service areas.
  • Responsible for ensuring all lounge employees complete required company compliance training.
  • Manages Human Resources responsibilities for the lounge, including creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback (coaching and counseling), recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction; executing quality hiring, training, and succession planning processes that support the company’s diversity commitment; adhering to the company’s position regarding third-party representation; and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, employment laws, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Interacts with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of the overall lounge experience.
  • Responds to guest concerns and takes appropriate corrective action when necessary.
  • Manages the lounge’s guest feedback channels through approved company practices.
  • Collaborates with Beverage Leadership, VIP Services, Entertainment, and other operational teams to ensure a seamless and elevated guest experience.
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of the venue’s food and beverage offerings, specialty cocktails, wines, spirits, entertainment programming, and equipment necessary to perform assigned duties.
