About The Position

This is a full-time, on-site position at our Pro-Line facility in Banning, CA. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm PST. Typical pay for this position is $100,000-$120,000 annually. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range. The General Manager is accountable for the Pro-Line P&L. They will be accountable for portfolio strategy, new product development, commercial performance, and overall business results. Working closely with the Pro-Line Surface Brand Manager, this role will identify market opportunities, develop growth strategies and ensure the successful execution of new products and initiatives that strengthen the Pro-Line brand. They will deliver sustained business growth and provide overall oversight of the Pro-Line Banning facility, coordinating site-related activities and investments to support employees, customers, and business operations. Success in this role is measured by revenue growth, profitability, market share expansion, product innovation, and the successful execution of key business initiatives Working closely with the Pro-Line Surface Brand Manager, this role identifies market opportunities, develops growth strategies, and ensures the successful execution of initiatives that strengthen the Pro-Line brand and deliver sustained profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Product Development, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, category management, business management, product development, or a related leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience leading and developing teams
  • Demonstrated success growing a product category, business unit, or consumer product portfolio
  • Experience developing and launching successful products from concept through commercialization
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, business cases, and profitability
  • Proven ability to develop business strategies and translate them into measurable results
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Ability to travel as required for customer visits, product testing, trade shows, industry events, and supplier meetings

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the RC, hobby products, powersports, automotive aftermarket, consumer products, or related industries
  • Experience working directly with enthusiast communities, racers, influencers, or brand ambassadors
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, new product introduction, and global sourcing environments
  • Experience using product lifecycle management (PLM) and project management systems

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Pro-Line Product Development team, including engineering, product development, design, and manufacturing engineering resources
  • Own the Pro-Line P&L and overall business performance, developing and executing strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and market share expansion
  • Partner with the Pro-Line Surface Brand Manager to establish portfolio strategy, product roadmaps, and long-term growth initiatives
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities through customer insights, competitive analysis, industry trends, and direct market engagement
  • Lead the development and execution of new products from concept through launch, ensuring strong business cases and successful commercialization
  • Establish development priorities and allocate resources to maximize business impact and return on investment
  • Monitor business performance and implement actions to achieve financial and strategic objectives
  • Provide general management oversight of the Pro-Line Banning facility
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, racers, influencers, licensors, and industry partners
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, operations, sourcing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of business objectives
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, customer focus, and continuous improvement throughout the organization
  • Provide regular business reviews, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Performs other duties as assigned
