About The Position

Emmy Squared Pizza in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to lead its continued success. As part of the Pizza Loves Emily Restaurant Group, Emmy Squared Pizza is an upscale casual full-service restaurant brand with over 20 locations across the U.S. The company is known for its Detroit-style pizza and a commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

At least 1 year of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant.
Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
Proficiency with computers and POS systems.
Excellent communication skills.
A love for food, hospitality, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
Serve Safe Certified Food Manager.
Familiarity with labor management, menu planning, and health/safety regulations.
Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs. and push/pull up to 75 lbs.
Standing/walking for extended periods, with frequent bending, squatting, and reaching overhead.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Toast/Teamwork POS systems.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including team leadership, daily operations, guest experience, financial management, and strategic execution.
Hire, train, mentor, and motivate the team to deliver top-notch service and uphold company standards.
Supervise restaurant employees, manage shifts, and ensure compliance with all policies, processes, and health/safety standards.
Create a welcoming environment, engage with guests, and address concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Oversee labor scheduling, cash handling, and work to achieve sales and financial goals.
Lead marketing initiatives, coordinate catering contracts, and implement strategies to drive growth and enhance operations.
