The role requires setting an example for the crew and ensuring that team members follow policies and procedures. Candidates may be considered without prior pizza experience, although it is preferred. Before managing a store location, the candidate must complete all evaluations up to Manager in Training. Training and orientation are provided on the job. The position involves store operations and may require team members to perform a variety of duties, including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning the facility. Physical activities include standing, walking, lifting and carrying supplies, pushing or pulling trays, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, crouching, reaching, and frequent hand use. Work conditions may include hot and cold temperatures, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and adverse weather during outside tasks or deliveries.
