About The Position

Villa Restaurant Group is hiring a General Manager to lead Starbucks at John F. Kennedy International Airport! We’re looking for an experienced leader who can build a strong team, deliver consistent guest service, and take ownership of store performance. Requirements

• At least 3 years of restaurant or coffee shop management experience, including experience overseeing a store or comparable operation.
• Starbucks management experience strongly preferred.
• A track record of developing teams and meeting operational and financial goals.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory, labor management, and financial reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to meet airport badging and security requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Starbucks management experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations, including service, staffing, inventory, and financial performance.
• Maintain Starbucks standards for beverage quality, food preparation, and the guest experience.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop managers, shift supervisors, and baristas.
• Create schedules that support business needs and manage labor effectively.
• Review sales, labor, food costs, and other performance measures to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Manage ordering, inventory, cash controls, and product waste.
• Address guest concerns and employee issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, company policies, and airport security requirements.
• Partner with Villa Restaurant Group leadership to meet operational goals and maintain clear accountability.
