About The Position

Protect Environmental is seeking a General Manager to oversee the operational, financial, and sales performance of their assigned branch. This role requires a strategic, people-centered approach to managing operations, developing talent, and expanding market presence. The General Manager will ensure operational cohesion, lead a high-performing team, and drive consistent implementation of the company's Residential Sales Playbook, ultimately contributing to the mission of creating healthy, safe, clean, and sustainable indoor environments.

  • Experience in operations coordination, facilities management, and budget management

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day operational functions to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage performance of operational teams to ensure services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and within budget.
  • Review productivity and allocate resources appropriately.
  • Monitor service line growth and recommend strategies based on operational data and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee equipment, vehicle, and facility maintenance.
  • Lead long-range planning, budget management, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Maintain oversight of team training and development plans in partnership with national support teams.
  • Promote a safe work environment and participate in safety initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary sales leader for the branch, responsible for developing sales capability across all customer-facing roles.
  • Train and mentor Technicians, Project Coordinators, and Estimators in consultative sales methodology.
  • Reinforce and ensure consistent execution of the Residential Sales Playbook.
  • Conduct field-level coaching, including ride-alongs when needed.
  • Model effective sales behaviors, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Establish clear sales expectations and foster a culture of accountability, responsiveness, and revenue discipline.
  • Ensure alignment between operations and sales to support a seamless customer experience.
  • Be accountable for predictable revenue growth through disciplined sales management and strategic market engagement.
  • Monitor leading indicators such as outreach cadence, follow-up compliance, answer rates, and speed-to-lead.
  • Track lagging indicators including conversion rate, revenue per answered call, close rate, and gross margin.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure consistent adoption of sales systems, processes, and follow-up standards.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with real estate professionals, builders, inspectors, mortgage/title companies, and complementary service providers.
  • Initiate new partnership opportunities and strengthen existing referral relationships.
  • Attend partner meetings, industry events, and support lunch-and-learns or rollout meetings.
  • Represent Protect Environmental as the face of the local market and uphold brand standards.
  • Ensure full adoption and consistent execution of the Residential Sales Playbook.
  • Enforce outreach cadence and structured follow-up systems.
  • Drive referral strategy execution.
  • Ensure sales discipline across all roles.
  • Maintain accountability for playbook standards.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train branch staff.
  • Oversee daily workflow and ensure team alignment.
  • Provide timely, constructive performance evaluations.
  • Manage discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy.
  • Support professional development and talent management in partnership with national support teams.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $130,000 - $140,000 a year
